It seems that people have been writing about planning for as long as people have been writing. No surprise there. No enterprise, whether it’s assembling the space shuttle or getting dinner on the table, is done well without a plan.
Every project manager, team leader or successful person for that matter, knows the importance of planning. Just try executing a project without it. But sometimes it’s easy to get overly excited about a project, causing you to neglect the all-important planning period.
